Ok, fans. Professor T here. Recently I decided to re-read the whole series over from the being. I just finished POA and I must say there is something that has always bugged me. The whole Pettigrew getting away thing. Why would they just bind an Animungus up with rope (especially one that turns into a rat)? I would think there being 2 full grown very talented wizards (one's that know how small Pettigrew is as a rat) and a very talented student witch they would have use Petrificus Totalus on pettigrew so he couldn't transform and get away. Just my thought on that.

Very good question Professor T, I have never thought of that but it would make total sense in this case. The reason is probably the fact that if he had been caught in the 3rd book the rest of the series would be a great deal different.
